Biggles Bistro has CLOSED down, TAC as well unfortunately! Biggles Bistro Family Restaurant, at the Transvaal Aviation Club (TAC) at Rand Airport in Germiston, is the place where fun-filled outings happen. There is lots to see in the way of aircraft, both static and flying. Superb restaurant facilites for all types of functions and events are available and there is a safe playgorund area for the kids. The Original Aviation Bar and Restaurant based at Rand Airport, Biggles boasts having two retired SAA Boeing 747s "Lebombo" and "Maluti" parked right in the Garden, see picture below, the SAA Museum Society's display hall and library in the building, as well as having a permanent airshow in the sky above. Come and enjoy a tasty meal in the vast garden area or a drink at one of three bars (Two inside and One outside). The airport restaurant is a great family environment, where friendships are made and kept. Biggles Bar and Bistro's goal is to create and promote an appreciation for aviation to all, young and old.
